NEK Værktøjsfabrik has extensive expertise in developing and manufacturing injection moulding tools for all types of 1K, 2K and 3K parts. Our extensive know-how enables us to handle the entire process of development, prototyping, product finalisation and finally, manufacturing the right tool for the job.

Design work is undertaken on our 3D Unigraphic. This CAD-CAM system allows us to change or modify during production through effective visualisation.
Simple prototyping tool
- Made of unhardened steel, brass or aluminium.
- Often partly-manually operated.
- Production run typically from 50-5,000 items
Tools for series production
- Made of hardened steel, can be coated.
- Production up to approx. 500,000 items.
Tools for small batch production
- Made of unhardened or hardened steel, can be coated.
- Production up to approx. 100,000 items
Tooling for large series production
- Made of hardened special steel, always coated.
- Production over 1,000,000 items.
Tooling for very large series production
- Made of hardened special steel, always coated.
- Production over 1,000,000 items.
- 1K, 2K and 3K Tools can be manufactured as turning tools or mechanical tension.
- Another great alternative is as a Stage or Tandem tool for 40-95% more productivity.
